LIVING SPACE: One of the most exciting and challenging aspects of university life is recreating a home away from home. Most students opt to live in hostels as this usually works out cheaper than finding a rented accommodation. The University guarantees accommodation in hostels for all the students, including international students.
HAVING FUN: After a hard day's study, going out and having fun is what student life is all about. Bhubaneswar is a lively city filled with events, cinema halls, hotels and parks, so one will never be short of things to do. On top of that, there are lots of student activities like dramatics, music, sports, and debates, to get involved in. Involving oneself in extra curricular activities is a good way to make friends and adding a bit of sparkle to a curriculum vitae which enhances your job prospects.
RESPONSIBILITY: An important aspect of being at KLS is time management. It is a good idea to organize your time with a weekly or monthly schedule. One can be as flexible with time as one likes but students will always need to make sure they get out of bed for lectures, meet presentation and project deadlines, and schedule in plenty of revision days before examination. Life at KLS is all about learning. Students will have anything from three to five hours of lectures in a day. But on top of that, they are expected to do extensive hours of self study. If one can plan time and workload well, they can have plenty of free time to enjoy university life.
KIIT Law School has many societies that promote extra- curricular activities. Students are encouraged to join these societies and participate in various activities so that they can build their self confidence, hone their skills and bring their latent talent to the fore. This will enable them to participate very successfully in various intra and inter institutional fora and inter university levels as well. We offer our students opportunities for personality development and enrichment through these societies.
STUDENTS BAR ASSOCIATION: Moot Court is an integral part of KIIT Law School curricula.
